Carmen O'Keefe is a senior development manager and the primary point of contact for the Heritage Wind Project. She has been with Apex since 2015 and manages wind and solar projects in New York, Maine, and Ohio. Carmen grew up in Newfane and is thrilled to see the potential for progress in the area she considers home. Carmen has a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music from Greenville College and is musically active in Western New York.

Robert Gee is a Development Manager and has been with Apex since 2019. Prior to that he taught history, sociology, and environmental studies at Unity College and the University of Maine and was a 2011 Fulbright scholar working on historical resource management communities. He is a PhD ABD at the University of Maine, has an MA from the University of New Hampshire and a BA from Colby College. Rob works on projects in ISO-NE, NYISO and PJM.

Anna Mathes joined the Heritage Wind team in 2020 as a part time employee and became a full time Field Organizer for Apex and the Northeast Region in September 2022. Anna is a resident of the Town of Barre, NY where renewable energy has recently made its footprint. Anna looks forward to engaging local communities and providing quality information about renewable energy.
