Ben Yazman is the primary point of contact for Heritage Wind. He coordinates with a cross-disciplinary team to advance projects through all stages of development up to power marketing, with a focus on site identification and acquisition. An experienced project manager, Ben joined Apex in February 2016 after three and a half years supporting USAID programs in Afghanistan with Chemonics International.

Carmen O'Keefe is a project developer for the Heritage Wind and Lighthouse Wind projects. She began working with Apex in July of 2015. Carmen manages the offices in Barker and Albion and helps to establish relationships and connections in Somerset, Yates, and Barre. Carmen grew up in Newfane and is thrilled to see the potential for progress in the area she considers home. Carmen has a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music from Greenville College and is musically active in Western New York.
Jessica Walsh is the Public Engagement Coordinator for the Heritage and Lighthouse Wind projects. She started out as an intern for Apex in December of 2017 and was hired on full-time in November of 2018. She is a recent graduate of the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geoscience. Jessica is eager to work closely with the public to promote renewable energy and community benefits in Barre, Somerset and Yates.
