On March 15, 2021, Heritage Wind received its Draft Permit under Section 94-c from the Office of Renewal Energy Siting (ORES). You can find the draft permit online at: www.heritagewindpower.com/draftpermit. The release of the draft permit starts a public comment period for 60 days, ending May 21, 2021.

Here are some ways that residents and stakeholders can submit comments regarding the draft permit and the Heritage Wind project:

Written Public Comments

Written comments concerning the application and the draft permit conditions must be filed with ORES by 5:00 p.m. on May 21, 2021. You can use any of the following methods to submit your comments.

• Submit electronically on the Department of Public Service’s (DPS’s) Document and Matter Management (DMM) system. To post a comment directly you can click here, or go to https://ores.ny.gov/permit-applications, click on Project DMM Matter Number 21-00026, and click on “Post Comments” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
